Copa America 2019 Outright Betting

Blog News

One often overlooked football competition, much more so overlooked by football fans based across Europe is the Copa America, and today I am going to be looking at the current state of the futures betting markets on the outright winner betting market for that competition.

It is worth noting though that bookies do tend to offer some wildly different odds on each team taking part in the Copa America, and as such the onus really is on you to find one that is offering some of the highest odds.

One bookie that is and a bookie that is always worth checking out when it comes to football related promotional offers is BetFred, and with that in mind all the early odds I will be revealing to you below are currently readily available from that betting site.

In fact, BetFred do offer their customers the option of instead of picking out a team to win the Copa America, they will let them place an each-way bet, and by doing so even if the team doesn’t win but finishes in second place they are still paid out at one third of the win odds on the place part of that bet.

Brazil and Argentina Lead the Betting

To be fair to BetFred, the volumes of wagers being placed currently on the Copa America are not huge, and as such they are offering some respectable odds on each team, including on the two teams that are the first and second favourites to win.

Leading the betting they have Brazil whose odds of 5/4 do give you an indication of their chances of winning, not far behind them in the betting is the solid second favourite that team being Argentina, who do look an excellent value bet at their current odds of 10/3.

All Other Teams Odds

If you have your eye on any of the other teams then I will now give you an insight into just what odds each of them are trading at over at the BetFred betting site.

Uruguay are next in the betting with odds attached to them right now of 7/1 closely followed by both Chile at 8/1 and Colombia at 9/1.

Some very generous double-digit odds are then being offered on the likes of both Ecuador and Peru who are available at odds of 25/1, Venezuela may be a team you do fancy the chances of and inf so then now is when you should be backing them and taking advantage of the 28/1 odds you can secure on them.

As for teams such as Japan and Paraguay you can back them all day long at odds of 33/1, the you have Bolivia who do seem to be up against it at 66/1 and then the rank outsider is Qatar who is team not many punters are backing or will be backing despite their 100/1 outright win odds.

In fact, those odds on Qatar winning the Copa America are much higher on most betting exchanges so keep that in mind if you are planning on betting on them!
