Today I want to take a look at some long term football related bets that are going to be on offer to you at plenty of our featured and fully approved betting sites, and it is on the FA Cup outright winner betting markets that I will be giving you some pointers as to where to place bets.
I know that some of you out there will not be interested in betting this far in advance of any football competition actually starting, but make no mistake about it the odds that can be secured right now are going to prove way too tempting for most football punters, so read on to find out more.
You can lower the risk of placing an early bet on the FA Cup and that will be by you placing an each-way bet as opposed of placing an outright winner bet, but do be aware that the betting terms can vary form betting site to betting site when you do decide to place an each-way bet instead of an outright winner bet.
Having checked out plenty of our featured and fully approved betting site this morning however, I am happy to report plenty of them have each-way betting terms that state that you will be paid out at one half of the win odds if you team finishes in first or second position on the place part of that bet and the full odds too if your chosen teams succeeds in winning the FA Cup too.
Punters Cannot Resist a Bet on Manchester City
With many bookies having Man City listed as the favourite to win the FA Cup this coming season and with a fair percentage of them too offering punters odds as high as 10/3 you will not be surprised to learn that a large number of punters have already been betting them via the early betting markets on the FA Cup.
However, those odds do very clearly give you an insight in just how fancied Man City are of winning the cup this season, and as those odds are not too low that does of course mean there are plenty of other teams that could in it instead, such as Liverpool who for reference are the current early second favourite to win at odds of 6/1.
Who Else are Being Backed Early?
Some punters are going to be very eager to back teams such as Chelsea, Tottenham and Man Utd as it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise if any of those three teams did win the FA Cup this year and you can back them all at odds of 9/1 right now.
Then you have the likes of Arsenal who are a 10/1 shot right now followed in the betting by both Wolves and Everton who are easy to back at odds of 16/1.
The only other teams that have what anybody could call a fair chance but not a great chance of winning the FA Cup this season are Leicester at 25/1, West Ham at 28/1 and Newcastle at 33/1 however the odds on all other teams are much great than 33/1, and Betfair is probably where you are going to find the very best odds available on any other teams that you do fancy.
